This 9ct Gold Reworked Cherub Pendant almost didn’t make it. She was seconds from the melt pot—damaged, overlooked, and forgotten. But the moment I saw her, I felt something stir. There was beauty here, buried beneath wear and time. I knew I couldn’t let her go.
So, I brought her back to life.
The original piece was too fragile to restore directly, so I had a mould made to preserve her image and story. I recast her in fresh, solid 9ct gold, breathing new life into her delicate form while honouring every curve and quiet detail of the original. The soft folds of her posture, the ethereal stillness in her presence—it all returned, renewed and glowing.
To complete the pendant, I found a vintage gold bale—also once headed for melting—and brought it into this piece. Another forgotten fragment reborn. Together, they now carry a sense of soul, care, and second chances.
What once was broken is now whole. What was once overlooked is now impossible to ignore.
